  1. Installing System Software for CodeWarrior

  3. For MacOS Development:
  4.  
  5. The best way to install the System Software for CodeWarrior is to use the installer. The various options in the installer will install the System Software that they need, and the installer always puts the right things in the right places regardless of what type of machine you're using or what version of MacOS you have installed.

  7. If, however, you don't want to use the installer, here's how to install the system software necessary for CodeWarrior:

  9. 1. Open the folder "for Extensions folder" in the "MacOS Development" folder.
  10.  
  11. 2. Copy the file "MetroNub" to the Extensions folder in the System folder on your startup disk. 
  12.  
  13. 3.  Copy all files in the that folder to your "Extensions" folder.
  14.  
  15. 4. If you have a Power Macintosh, open the folder "For Power Macs Only" and copy all the contents to  the Extensions folder in the System folder on your startup disk. You're done now.
